McKesson Update and Customer Letter Regarding PPE Availability & Pricing (July 2020)

CCPA Purchsasing Partners (CCPAPP) and McKesson would like to provide the latest update as it relates to McKesson's PPE availability and pricing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As you are likely aware, the demand for PPE remains significantly higher than the supply. Fortunately, in some categories of supplies, there have been strong increases in product availability and a lift on allocations. McKesson provides a full listing of their current PPE availability on their site to assist your ordering efforts.

However, unfortunately the demand for certain products including nitrile and vinyl gloves remains high and is straining manufacturing capacity. Gloves are also impacted by manufacturing constraints such as raw material shortages and worker safety.

Due to these factors which continue to keep demand high, McKesson will be increasing its pricing of clear vinyl gloves. This increase will go into effect on August 15, 2020 and will remain effective through September 30, 2020. McKesson will communicate any future changes to the pricing 30 days in advance.
